CLINICAL AFFILIATIONS

In order to enhance students’ breadth and depth of experience, the program has secured affiliation agreements with a number of healthcare facilities.  Students gain most of their clinical experience at the University of Kansas Hospital, however, students are rotated to off-site affiliates to obtain required or enhancement case experiences.

Students are assigned to approximately six rotations at off-site affiliates during their third year in the program.  Each rotation lasts four weeks.  Please note that several clinical sites are outside the Kansas City metropolitan area and students are normally required to attend several of these out-of-town affiliations during their final year in the program.

The following chart lists the current clinical sites and highlights the type of clinical experiences afforded the student at each site.
